How Octavyan protects students on the platform.
Our commitment
Octavyan takes the safety of minors seriously. All messaging on the platform is monitored following KCSIE (Keeping Children Safe in Education) principles.
Message monitoring
All messages sent through the platform are subject to keyword-based safeguarding checks. Flagged content is reviewed by trained safeguarding personnel within 4 hours for standard flags, 1 hour for high-severity flags.
Verified counselors
Every counselor on the platform has completed the Octavyan Verified process: credential review, reference checks, safeguarding orientation, and signing a code of conduct.
Reporting a concern
If you have a safeguarding concern, contact us immediately at safeguarding@octavyan.com. For emergencies, always contact local authorities first.
Audit records
All message audit logs are retained for a minimum of 7 years in compliance with regulatory requirements.
